CROSSING THE MAIN

Shot and aired in the summer of 2003, “Crossing the Main” was a CBC comedy special hosted by David Acer and Sylvain Larocque, and produced by the very talented Matt Zimbel.

In addition to appearances by stand-up comedians Mike Paterson (“Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”), Ryan Wilner (YTV’s “Radio Active”), Isabelle Gaumont (SRC’s “Un Gars, Une Fille”), and more, the special highlighted the disparity between the repressive, belittling star-system in english Canada and its polar opposite on the french side of the industry.
